Nature Connection
The gîte “Le Galabre” gets its name from the torrent that crosses the village. From the garden of the house, you see it as it meanders through the black marl cliffs – the celebrated “robines”. The cottage adjoins the house of the owners, Christine and Jacky (house designed and built by themselves).
From the car park reserved for you, go down a few steps to reach a large wooden terrace covered with a shade sail and surrounded by an original guardrail. A barbecue awaits you for an meal on the terrace, and in the summer, you can even harvest tomatoes and aromatic herbs from the garden at your disposal.
The gîte “Le Galabre” is ideal for living with friends or family, who are looking to spend time in nature to disconnect and to recharge their batteries. It is the perfect second home while you set off on an adventure in discovery of Haute Provence.

The bedroom with the large overhanging bed opens up directly to the rising sun on the garden.
You will love the kitchen “perched” behind a fresco entitled “An Olive Tree Near a Shed in a Lavender Field”. It descends into the south-facing living room. In the second bedroom, the 90cm beds rest on a platform. The bathroom will surprise you with its spiral-shaped shower reminiscent of the emblematic ammonites of our region.
Solar panels (8m²) produce hot water all year round. The garden located on the ammonite slab below the olive tree, decorated with boxwood and yucca, offers a play area for children and promises sunbathing for everyone.

To reserve the gîte « le Galabre »
Reservations and payment are to be made online, but you can also make a request using our contact form on the contact page or by giving us a call.
Following your call or email, we will hold your dates for 10 days. We will send you, by email or post, a reservation contract that you should return to us signed within 10 days, accompanied by payment of the 25% deposit (which will be converted into a 1-year credit in the event of a cancellation). The balance will be paid on your arrival, at the aperitif… (Read the General Terms and Conditions for Rental.)
